    Frequently asked questions

How does the College Predictor work?

It compares your percentile or merit rank with the official CAP Round I closing cutoffs published by the State CET Cell, for every seat you are eligible for (your category, gender, home university and special reservations). It then predicts next year's cutoff from how cutoffs have moved in earlier years and lists the best colleges where your chance is high.

What do I get after paying?

The list of colleges for the pack you choose (for example your top 10 or top 25), best colleges first, with your chance, last year's cutoff and the expected cutoff for each. The list is saved to your account, so you can open it again any time.

    Which admissions are covered?

All CET Cell admissions with published cutoffs: B.E./B.Tech, Direct Second Year Engineering, B.Pharm / Pharm.D, MBA / MMS, MCA, BCA, BBA / BMS / BBM, B.Ed, LL.B. 3 and 5 years, B.Sc Nursing and Agriculture.

    Is the predicted chance guaranteed?

No. It is an estimate from past cutoffs and how much they changed from year to year. The actual allotment depends on the CAP round, the seat matrix and the choices of other candidates. Use it to plan, and fill your option form with more colleges than these.
