For the exam form you only fill in details and upload a photo and signature. Aadhaar and APAAR ID are verified online through DigiLocker, so make sure they are correct before you start.

Your name must be spelt the same way on every document. Fix any mismatch at the issuing office before CAP.
Scan originals in colour, clear and straight. Blurry or cut-off scans are sent back.
Apply for caste validity, NCL and EWS early: they take weeks.
Keep everything in one folder, plus a DigiLocker copy where available.
