Eligibility

• A bachelor's degree (any discipline, 3 or 4 years) with Mathematics as a subject at 10+2 or graduation level.
• At least 50% aggregate (45% for reserved categories, Maharashtra domicile).
• Final-year students can apply.

Exam Pattern (recent cycles, confirm in the 2027 brochure)

• Duration: 90 minutes, 2 marks per question, 4 options each.
• No negative marking (2026 pattern). No sectional time limit.
• Section-wise counts come from coaching sites. Confirm them in the official 2027 brochure.
• For reference: the 2026 provisional answer key came out on 30 April 2026.

Syllabus — Topics

• Mathematics & Statistics: algebra, coordinate geometry, trigonometry, calculus (limits, derivatives, integrals), matrices & determinants, vectors, probability, statistics (mean, median, mode, SD), sets, relations & functions, permutations & combinations.
• Logical Reasoning: series, coding-decoding, blood relations, seating arrangement, syllogisms, puzzles, direction sense, data sufficiency, non-verbal / figure-based abstract reasoning.
• English: reading comprehension, synonyms and antonyms, fill in the blanks, sentence correction, para-jumbles, idioms.
• Computer Concepts: computer basics, number systems & conversions, Boolean algebra & logic gates, memory & storage, operating system basics, C programming basics, data structures (basic), networking & internet basics, DBMS basics.

Preparation Timeline

• Start 4–6 months before the exam, around October–November of your final year.
• Spend most of your time on Maths and Reasoning (60% of the marks).
• Non-CS graduates should give Computer Concepts 4–6 weeks of focused study.
• Take timed mocks: 100 questions in 90 minutes means about 54 seconds each.
