GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering)
π· What is GATE?
GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) is a national-level postgraduate entrance examination jointly conducted by IITs and IISc Bengaluru (on a rotational basis).
It tests comprehensive understanding of undergraduate engineering and science subjects and is used for:
- M.Tech / M.E / PhD admissions
- PSU recruitment
- International university admissions
